Hi, I’m Kitty! Owner, creator, chief colour mixer and occasional victim of tie-dye at The Big Brown Moose!

What started as a love of wearable art has turned into a colourful little adventure from my workshop in Bendigo, Australia. I’ve always believed that clothes should be comfortable, a little bit different and, most importantly, make you feel good when you put them on.

I hand-dye every piece myself, which means no two are ever exactly the same. Sometimes I know exactly what I’m going to create… and sometimes the dye has other ideas! Either way, every garment ends up with its own personality.

I love natural fabrics, beautiful colours and clothing that doesn’t take itself too seriously. At The Big Brown Moose, we’re all about individuality, creativity and wearing something that makes people say, “Ooh, where did you get that?”

From my little workshop in Bendigo, I pour plenty of love, colour and probably far too much time into every piece. Each one is made with care, attention to detail and the occasional colourful handprint that refuses to wash off!

Hand-dyed with love. Worn with soul. Occasionally dyed with questionable decision-making.

Every piece carries a little bit of the open road, the freedom of a festival, the warmth of a campfire and a whole lot of colourful Moose magic.
